Engineers and installation experts from Toijala Works and NT Liftec have jointly developed and assembled a prototype of the new SC30 N industrial straddle carrier.
The new emission standards for Tier 4 diesel engines were the catalyst for product development. The SC30 N model has a completely overhauled power system and a new modular frame that speeds up assembly and facilitates customization. It is more cost-efficient, which also benefits the customer.
Toijala Works was chosen as NT Liftec’s partner due to its experience in engineering and assembling heavy mobile devices. Collaboration will continue with NT Liftec looking after product sales, while Toijala Works takes responsibility for everything else. Thus resources will be released at NT Liftec for acquiring new customers in new market areas, as well as for other projects.
