REPORT MISCONDUCT – WHISTLEBLOWING CHANNEL

To promote an open, transparent, and safe working culture, we have implemented a channel for reporting suspected misconduct. The implementation of this channel is based on the Whistleblower Protection Act and the European Union Whistleblower Protection Directive.

The Whistleblowing channel provides a confidential way to bring a suspicion of potential misconduct or violation of operational principles to the attention of an internal investigation. Reports can be made anonymously.

Primarily, it is advisable to discuss your concern or suspicion with your supervisor or management. If discussing the matter does not feel like a good option or it does not work, you can always use this channel to report the issue. The Whistleblowing channel is designed so that the reporter cannot be identified if you wish to make the report anonymously.

All reports are handled confidentially, protecting the privacy of both the reporter and the subject of the report. The processing of personal data complies with the obligations set out in the Data Protection Act (1050/2018).

A report can be made based on a suspicion alone and without concrete evidence, as long as it is done honestly and in good faith. Reports received through the Whistleblowing channel are handled by the CEO, CFO, and HR Manager, who will initiate the necessary investigations. The processing is confidential. Confidentiality also applies when the reporter discloses their identity.

If the report concerns one of the handlers, they will not participate in the processing and investigation of the case.

After receiving your report, we will acknowledge receipt within 7 days. If necessary, we will request additional information from you during the investigation. This stage also takes place through the channel, confidentially and anonymously. We will inform you of the outcome of the investigation through the channel within 3 months of submitting the report.

At the end of the reporting process, you will receive a personal code with which you can track the progress of your report.

If you have made a report and lose the case-specific code, we ask you to make a new report, referencing your original report. This way, the investigation can continue in cooperation with you.

If our internal channel does not work, you can report misconduct as defined in the Whistleblower Protection Act to the centralized external reporting channel of the Chancellor of Justice. Please note that irregularities in the organization’s operations should primarily be reported through our internal reporting channel to receive whistleblower protection.
